I have been remodeling my daughter’s house, fighting weather, and just not getting a lot done it seems.
My rear door mods did not last. The Teflon washers seperated and the door rocked when opened.
I made Teflon blocks with a grove in it and made the fit very tight. Slides perfectly now. Remade the top key much wider to remove all slop, and I might need to shift the whole door out an 1/8″. Will give it awhile to settle and see.
The next issue has been our Camano bridge helm unit. I rebuilt it earlier, but have since battled several small leaks. Once those were fixed, it became obvious the leak was also above it. So I pulled it again and replaced all the gaskets and orings.
